SORSOGON

Paguriran Island, Sorsogon, Philippines
It’s not always about the adrenaline rush when you jump, but the brief moment of clarity as you fall.

🇵🇭SORSOGON ADVENTURE PRIMER🇵🇭

✈️🛳🚌 How to get to Sorsogon:

📌Buses bound for Matnog will pass by the town of Irosin.
📌If you are coming from Sorsogon City, you can ride a jeepney to Irosin instead.

Subic Beach, Calintaan Island, Sorsogon, Philippines
I think the province of Sorsogon is one of the most underrated places in the Philippines in terms of tourism. When it comes to beauty, their beaches are at par with the popular ones but because it’s relatively far, their tourist attractions do not get the attention they’re supposed to.
📍Subic Beach, Calintaan Island, Matnog
Bayugin Falls, Bulusan, Sorsogon, Philippines
If plane tickets are expensive, you have the option to travel by land to get to this province. Some backpackers may not like the long and butt-numbing bus ride from Manila but the spots they’ll be seeing in Sorsogon are definitely worthy of visiting.

Calintaan Island, Sorsogon, Philippines
I joined PH First’s Random Journey in Sorsogon in 2014. I wanted to see for myself what this province has to offer. After roaming around its municipalities for three days with my newfound friends, I have proven that Sorsogon definitely has some of the most awesome tourist destinations in the Philippines.
📍Calintaan Island, Matnog
Bulusan Lake, Sorsogon, Philippines
You shouldn’t miss out on kayaking in this serene lake of Bulusan. Apologies if I only have a handful of photos. These are only some of the very few pictures that I was able to save from my old school Sony camera phone.
Paguriran Island, Sorsogon, Philippines
What I like about Paguriran is you don’t need to ride a boat to reach this piece of paradise. Just walk for a few minutes from the shoreline and you can enjoy swimming in its turquoise lagoon.
