Wanderlust is my middle name.
This blog serves as my travelogue that chronicles my experiences as a traveler. You will find here travel guides for destinations I have visited in the Philippines. Below, on the other hand, are the things that I love as a child of Mother Nature, things that I consider elements that make up the blueprint of my identity as an adventure artist.

Backpacking PhilippinesMOUNTAINS. I’ve been hiking for years now. My desire to brave assaults and unending ascents is absolutely unwavering.

Backpacking PhilippinesBEACHES. Who can resist the world-class sand and turquoise waters of the beaches of our country?

Backpacking PhilippinesWATERFALLS. I always have a thing for the continuous drop of water in waterfalls, that constant loop as if it represents the cycle of life and death in the multiverse.

Backpacking PhilippinesCAVES. To be honest, I was not a fan of caves before because I hate insects and other animals lurking in these dark hollows. My fear of them used to be aggravated by my fear of supernatural creatures as well. But when I learned long exposure photography, I began to appreciate the beauty of the earth underneath. I was also able to conquer that fright I had inside of me.

The activities which I do and bodies and forms of natural wonders that I visit are diverse. I never had a habit of saturating what I do with solely exploring mountains or just beaches. That being said, you won’t expect me frolicking by man-made spots such as churches, resorts or museums though. Instead, I want to experience exhaustion first before getting my reward and the pain that comes along with it.  The challenge ultimately fires me up, entertains my soul and feeds my hungry mind. After all, the best view always comes after the greatest ordeal.
