Ambon-Ambon Falls, Batangas Travel Guide

Ambon-Ambon Falls, Laurel, Batangas, Philippines — For me, this was the best part of our daytour in the municipality of Laurel. I still appreciated what the waterfall looks like but the perfect lighting in this canyon where the water flows from the cascade of Ambon-Ambon Falls made this photo possible which was the highlight of our trek.

✈🛳🚌 How to get to Ambon-Ambon Falls and Malagaslas Spring, Batangas:
⏺ Ride a bus from Metro Manila to Tanauan, Batangas (e.g. JAM Liner in LRT Taft-Buendia; travel time is 1.5 – 2 hours depending on traffic condition).
⏺ Ride a tricycle to the terminal of jeepneys bound for the town of Laurel.
⏺ Take the jeepney to reach Laurel (travel time: 1 – 1.5 hours).
⏺ Upon reaching Laurel’s town proper, hire a tricycle that will take you to the jump-off.
⏺ Trek for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

7:00 AM ETA Laurel / breakfast / buy packed lunch
8:00 AM ETD for jump-off
8:30 AM Start trek

1:00 PM Head back to jump-off
2:00 PM Wash up / travel back to Laurel
3:00 PM ETD for Manila

📌The place gets crowded during weekends, holidays and summer vacation.
📌There is no need to hire a local guide as the trail is pretty much straightforward.
📌The last trip of jeepneys going back to Tanauan from Laurel usually leaves at 3:00 PM.
📌Expect rain during monsoon season (June-February).
