✈️🛳🚌 How to get to Paete and Pangil, Laguna:
⏺ Ride a bus from Metro Manila to Santa Cruz, Laguna (e.g. DLTB in LRT Taft-Buendia; travel time is 2 – 3 hours depending on traffic condition).
⏺ Transfer to a jeepney bound for the town of Siniloan (this will pass by the towns of Paete and Pangil).

⏺ Mt. Humarap (Tatlong Krus) and Matabungka Falls of Paete
📌The travel time via jeepney from Santa Cruz to Paete is 30 – 45 minutes.
📌Alight at 7-Eleven convenience store which serves as the jump-off.
📌The climb through stairsteps takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your pace.
📌There is no need for a local guide. You will be passing by a residential area as you ascend. You can ask the locals for the right directions since there are some forks along the trail. The trail will separate by the waiting shed (left path going to Mt. Humarap; right path going to the waterfall).
⏺ Buntot Palos Falls of Pangil
📌The travel time via jeepney from Santa Cruz to Pangil is 45 minutes to 1 hour.
📌Tell the driver that you are going to Buntot Palos and he will drop you off at Balian.
📌You can walk or ride a tricycle to get to the jump-off. Register and secure guide/s.
📌The trek takes about 1 – 2 hours depending on your pace but it would be much longer if the trail is muddy .
📌Please be reminded that leeches (limatik) are present along the trail during rainy season.
