It was a department outing of our company in 2013 and since all of us have finally agreed that we were very much willing to travel for hours to get to paradise, we pushed through with our trip.
Anguib Beach, Santa Ana, Cagayan, Philippines
We arrived in Santa Ana by lunch time of Saturday and after we checked in, we headed right away to Anguib Beach and Crocodile Island. Sadly, all my photos here in Anguib were only taken at this side of the beach because we were no longer allowed to explore and see more of it. The staff of the TV show Survivor were already preparing the area for their shooting. At least Anguib was still open at that time and we were still given the opportunity to visit that day.

Palaui Island, Santa Ana, Cagayan, Philippines
Since it was just an overnight trip that weekend, we had to be back in Tuguegarao City by Sunday afternoon to catch our bus back to Manila. So after our quick trip in Palaui Island that Sunday morning, we hopped on a van en route to Tuguegarao.

Our trip in Cagayan wouldn’t be complete without trying the famous noodle dish Batil Patung. We filled our tummies first before purchasing bus tickets for our trip back to Manila in the evening.
